Jucloud Privacy Notice

1. Information we collect and process

When you register, sign in, bind or use an account, we may collect your mobile number, verification result, WeChat OpenID/UnionID, display name, avatar, user ID, registration time, sign-in status and account-security information for account creation, verification, identification, security, support and entitlement synchronization.

When you use scriptwriting, character profiles, outlines, beat cards, relationships, revision history, import/export, adaptation, Script Doctor, AI generation, continuation, expansion, polishing, rewriting or refinement, we process the scripts, novel text, character material, outlines, source materials, documents, prompts, context, outputs, diagnostic and import reports, versions and project data you submit, input, edit, save, import or generate.

We may also process order and entitlement information, including order number, product type, payment channel and status, amount paid, discounts, membership status, credit packages, credit records, refund records and information needed for invoicing or support; device, log and security information, including IP address, browser, operating system, user agent, access and error logs, login and operation logs, risk-control records, crash and performance data; and feedback, complaint, report, support, refund and survey information. When you actively save a generated image to your Android or iOS photo library, we request only the write permission necessary for that action and do not read or upload other photos.

2. How we use information

We use information for account access, project saving and synchronization, script editing, format parsing, document import/export, adaptation, AI creation, Script Doctor analysis, character and outline generation, orders, memberships, credits, support, security controls, troubleshooting, product improvement, content safety and compliance auditing.

When you actively use an AI, Script Doctor, import/adaptation, intelligent generation or another content-processing function, the text, document, selection, project context, prompt and output may be used to complete that request, return a result, record consumption, preserve creative history, troubleshoot and resolve disputes.

Except as required by law, where you publish content, give separate authorization or processing is necessary for a feature you actively choose, we do not publicly display, sell or provide your private scripts, unpublished project text, character profiles or outlines to unrelated third parties. Without your express authorization, we do not use private creative content for public model training for third parties or external resale.

3. Cookies, local storage and attribution

We use cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies to maintain sign-in state, remember preferences, complete security checks, identify traffic source, measure channel performance, improve experience and prevent unusual access. When you arrive through a link with campaign, referral or external-source parameters, we may record those parameters, referrer, page visited, first-visit time and validity period for attribution, fraud prevention and operations analysis.

Essential storage may be necessary for sign-in, payment confirmation, source attribution, editor preferences and some functions. On international public pages, we ask for your choice before loading non-essential analytics; you can change that choice through the footer cookie controls.

4. Third-party services and sharing

We may use services for SMS verification, WeChat sign-in, payment, cloud servers, object storage, content delivery, document parsing, AI models, error monitoring, support and analytics. We provide information only to the extent necessary for the service and require appropriate lawful, necessary, confidential and secure processing.

When you actively start an AI creation, script diagnosis, adaptation, storyboard, image or video task and separately agree on the page, we may send the prompts, project name, synopsis, outline, character material, script text, uploaded-file text or image material necessary for that task to the AI provider actually enabled for it. Providers may include DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud Bailian, Volcano Engine, Tencent Cloud TokenHub or Zhipu AI. Refusing or withdrawing authorization prevents new AI-task transmission but does not prevent viewing projects or manually editing them.

Our mobile applications may use third-party SDKs for analytics, payment, sign-in and other functions. The data processed depends on the SDK version, device environment and feature you enable; we activate them only with consent where required or when you actively use the associated function.

5. Storage and retention

Personal information and important data collected or generated during our operation in the People's Republic of China are stored in China as required by law. If cross-border provision is involved in the future, we will follow the required legal procedures.

We retain information while needed for the stated purposes. When you delete content, close an account or the purpose no longer requires retention, we delete, anonymize or otherwise reasonably process it, except where law, regulation, dispute handling, transaction records, backups or security audits require retention.

6. Information security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures, including access controls, encryption or other safeguards where appropriate, to protect information. No network transmission or storage system is completely secure; please protect account credentials and promptly contact us about suspected unauthorized access.

7. Your personal-information rights

You can access, correct or delete some account data, project content, creative history, credit records and other editable information through your account, profile, project or feature pages. The available scope is determined by the functions displayed.

You may request account cancellation, deletion of personal information, withdrawal of authorization, a copy of personal information or information about our processing through support. We may verify identity before handling a request. Records required for transactions, payments, invoices, risk control, audits, complaints, content safety or disputes may not be deleted immediately, but we will limit their further ordinary-business use as permitted by law.

8. Protection of minors

Jucloud does not knowingly target children where parental consent is required. If you are a minor, use the service with a guardian's consent and guidance. If you believe a child has provided information without the required consent, contact us so we can review the request.

9. Policy updates

We may update this Notice as our service, data practices or applicable law changes. Material changes will be posted or notified before they take effect where required.

11. EEA and UK supplement

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process information to perform our contract with you; with your consent where consent is required; to comply with legal obligations; and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving and protecting the service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect prior processing and may make a consent-dependent function unavailable.

Jucloud operates from China and may process information there or in other countries where service providers operate. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate supplementary protections, which may include an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards or another permitted mechanism. You may ask us about safeguards relevant to your data.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent or information about processing. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may complain to the data protection authority in your habitual residence, workplace or place of the alleged infringement. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. If an EEA or UK representative is required for the processing we offer, its contact details will be published here before that processing is offered.
